What Brings a Fashion Shopper Back: The Vestara Home Page

Every fashion store pays to win a first order. After that, it either gives the shopper a reason to come back or pays to win them all over again. Vestara’s home page is built for the second visit as much as the first, with a weekly offer, other shoppers’ voices and two invitations to the newsletter.

The brief

A Shopper Who Buys Once Is Still a Stranger.

The Problem

A first order is expensive to win, and most online fashion shoppers buy once, if at all, then forget the store by the next season. Home pages that only list products treat every visit as the last, with nothing to bring a shopper back except another paid advert.

The Goal

Make the first visit easy to shop from category to cart, then build the habit of returning. A weekly offer, a daily deal, other customers’ voices, a newsletter worth joining and a community feed all give a shopper a reason to look again.

Who it’s for

Fashion shoppers who follow trends week to week, buying dresses, jackets and accessories online. They shop in short visits from their phones and return to the stores that keep them interested.

The visual system

Rose Pink From the Top Bar to the Sale Banner.

A confident rose pink carries the brand, from the welcome bar and the hero panel to the scrolling sale banner. Charcoal anchors the buttons and the Friday offer. Soft greys keep the product photos clean.

The decisions

How the Design Solves It

What the page does to earn a second visit.

Categories in Thumb Reach

Six round category icons sit straight under the hero, from women’s clothes to stylish bags, with item counts beneath. A shopper on a phone reaches their section in one tap.

A Weekly Reason to Return

A dark banner promises 35% off this Friday, a deal of the day follows, and a pink banner scrolls the current sales. The store always has something new to come back for.

Other Shoppers Vouch

Testimonials with names and photos, then a feed of customers wearing the clothes. Shoppers trust people like them more than a product photo.

An Inbox Invitation

A newsletter band near the foot of the page offers new collections and exclusive offers, and the footer asks again. Each sign-up is a visit the store can bring back without paying for it.

The walkthrough

Ten Sections, Built for the Second Visit

Browse the sections to see each one in the design and what it gives a returning shopper.

  1. A pink welcome bar, a search with a category filter and a second menu row, then a bold headline beside a model on a rose pink panel, with one Learn More button.

  2. Six round icons with item counts for women's clothes, watches, sneakers, men's clothes, sunglasses and bags, with arrows for more.

  3. Eight product cards under new arrival, featured and trending tabs, each with a sale or new tag, prices and colour dots, and add to cart on hover.

  4. A banner, half photo and half charcoal, promising 35% off this Friday and a special gift, with one Shop Now button.

  5. Four discounted products, then a pink banner scrolling new year discounts, summer sales and offers across brands.

  6. Three short reviews with names, roles and photos, with arrows to read more.

  7. Three photo-led articles with dates and read more buttons, giving shoppers something to read between orders.

  8. A grey band asking shoppers to keep up with new collections and exclusive offers, with one email field and a subscribe button.

  9. Five photos of people in the clothes under an invitation to join the community, linking to the social feed.

  10. Contact details, support and company links, a second newsletter sign-up and the accepted payment cards.
